Louis XVI Style Neo Classical Antiqued Pedestal Table with Drawer 50" Tall
Not many pieces of furniture strike such a balance while integrating so many design elements. The balanc is found in this great pedestal table. A fine metal gallery rises over reverse hand painted glass top yet does not overpower the glasswork. Egg and dart is used beneath the gallery and supported by a carved and hand gilded phoenix with ball in claw under each point of the top. Coramandel crackle is utilized on the drawer and all top skirt surfaces. Truly an achievement in style!
